I first learned about the Lunar Mansions when I was studying the connections between numerology and the Behenian Stars. One just sort of led to another and I went down a Renaissance Astrology rabbit hole. When possible, I try to plan activities with these times in mind.

Lunar Mansion 1, Al-Sharatain (The Two Signs)
0° Aries – 12° 51′ 26” Aries
This mansion is good for: traveling, healing, beginnings, business, and taking care of hair and nails. Energetically it supports movement, big bursts of energy, and force – it is in Aries, after all. It isn’t great for hiring employees, love, or friendship.
Lunar Mansion 2, Al-Butain (The Belly)
12° 51′ 26” Aries – 25° 42′ 51” Aries
This mansion is good for planting new seeds, physically and metaphorically. It supports seeking favour from those in authority, traveling over land, trading, seeking treasure, and hunting. It also supports the use of fire. It isn’t great for friendship, love, travel over water, or planting trees.
