The Masa, the celestial mediators, spin the fibers to create the star web that connects the worlds. The Masa are connection. Spirits of air, they whisper secrets to those who listen. The power they carry is not theirs to use but it is theirs to give. They are chameleons, transforming themselves into whatever is needed to carry the message.

In the contemplation for this card Louis Martinié writes, “In the dance of the soul, the burden and its bearer often become one.” If you are filled with doubt and find yourself constantly in a state of worry then you must learn to let go of attachment.

This is the truth that needs to be told: the length and form of our struggles and delays last only as long as we need them.
